Day 4 - Gratitude

Yesterday was great! Starting to really get into the rhythm with this whole thing...

I started the morning with breakfast at 8am. Made an omelet for Vivi and me. She liked it (or so she said) but I wasn't the biggest fan. I guess because it didn't have bacon or a lotta ketchup it was a bit on the bland side for me. I tried to finish it though, knowing that it was the only food I had available to me. Usually, I'd just go and buy some shitty fast food to satisfy my taste buds, but more and more I'm trying to change that attitude/behaviour.

I really enjoyed making breakfast in the morning. It was kinda messy because I'm not the best in the kitchen, but it was a fun way to wake up.

The day was pretty chill.... work is fairly dead but I can always work on side projects. Trying not to be complacent, but also trying to take advantage of the time to focus on my fitness. Gotta find that balance for sureeeee. The day was pretty much replying to a buncha emails and counting down to a 6:30pm session

Vivi prepped some jerk chicken wraps for lunch. They were amazing and I could definitely eat them anytime. Delicious and healthy, what's not to like?

Later in the day, one of the execs in the office ordered a bunch of stuff from Fresh. I got to indulge in some squash tacos + buffalo cauliflower bites. Both were great and tasty. Definitely got that full feeling that I usually crave from shittier fast food.

By the time I got to Barry's, I was able to stretch out my calves. My calves have been pretty problematic lately. I don't want to injure myself and not be able to maximize the 8 week challenge. Need to stretch more and roll them out when I'm home.

Barry's was tough. Definitely the hardest class I've gone to. On one hand it was great to keep pushing myself on the treadmill, but the other part of me is a bit scared of what's going on with my calves. Class was great and my shirt was drenched. I'm able to go a bit heavier on the weights now and can do extra reps when we do push ups. Finally seeing some results!

I'm glad we went hard in January before this challenge because I think doing the workouts with no familiarity to the training style in combination with the meal plans would've been toooo hectic.
